Gintama, as a canon, is a very fourth-wall breaking canon -- its characters generally know all about all things Japanese culture related (video games, anime/manga, movies, celebrities, etc.) as well as big American movies/celebrities as well. The characters in Gintama also know that they are characters, and regularly talk about their author, Sorachi Hideaki, and/or Sunrise, who produces the anime.

Below is a handy little form for fourth wall permissions for the Gintama cast at Luceti!

Kuri, I forgot to mention that Dragonball GT is widely looked down upon by the fandom, and some refuse to watch it outright. It's only in anime form, and a large majority of the fandom actually consider it non-canon and thus it never happened to a lot of them. So Vegeta's short hair (CUZ HE GOT IT CUT LOL) and previously owned MOOSTACHE isn't canon to them. NOT SURE HOW THAT EFFECTS THIS BUT. I thought I'd let you know.
