Gintama, as a canon, is a very fourth-wall breaking canon -- its characters generally know all about all things Japanese culture related (video games, anime/manga, movies, celebrities, etc.) as well as big American movies/celebrities as well. The characters in Gintama also know that they are characters, and regularly talk about their author, Sorachi Hideaki, and/or Sunrise, who produces the anime.

Below is a handy little form for fourth wall permissions for the Gintama cast at Luceti!

Are you open to us completely bleeping out canon/character names/genre/type? Well if you guys don't mind Selphie asking what all the bleeping is about, go for it! I think it'd make things very interesting. Just... if Selphie were to introduce herself, would that cease with some of the bleeping? o.O

OK sounds good. :) We'll work with you on it. And no, we don't mind if Selphie asks. If she introduces herself, the bleeping won't stop if you don't want it to. If you would like for her name to not be bleeped, we can do that. :)
